Stock digest Wednesday 22.03.24

SAP, a software company from Baden-Württemberg, didn't do so well in the DAX, a stock market index. Its stock went down by 0.71%, putting it near the bottom of the list. In Frankfurt, where trading happens, SAP's stock was selling for 179.28 euros, which is a bit lower than the day before when it was 180.56 euros. We're not sure yet if SAP will keep losing money.

In the DAX, SAP is number 37, and its stock went down by 0.71%, while the whole index went up by 0.11%. About 575,546 shares of SAP were traded, and the day before, it was about 2,663,237 shares. Even though SAP's stock is lower now, it's still not far from its highest price in the past year, which was 180.56 euros. But its lowest price in the past year was 111.20 euros.

SAP is a big company in the DAX, with a market value of 210.76 billion euros, and it makes up about 11.69% of the DAX. It's the biggest company in the DAX, with 107,602 employees. Siemens and Airbus are right after SAP.

Siemens Energy did really well on Thursday, with its stock going up by +6.7%. On Friday, it went up by about 2.5%. Airbus also reached a new high price on March 20, 2024, at 169.62 euros.

Airbus has been doing well since November 1, 2023, with its stock going up by +34.33%. It's also part of the boerse.de-Signale Aktien Deutschland group, which has a model portfolio that's done well, making about 17.3% every year since 1999.
